Quite simply, a website is a marketing tool for a business with the sole purpose of achieving business objectives in order to achieve revenue goals. It’s amazing then, how many web designers fail to recognise this and instead focus on ‘clean’, beautiful’, and ‘modern’ design. Don’t get me wrong – I deliver on all these aspects but to me that’s not what is important, to me, I want to deliver a website which will improve your business and being ‘modern’ and ‘clean’ alone is not going to do that.
I know I have to meet every clients expectations and better yet – exceed them. It isn’t enough to have a website created, it has to work for you and deliver on your targets, and with exceptional customer service I can help you achieve that – as well as a beautiful website of course…
Meeting expectations is not a throw away promise, it is something I feel strongly about and therefore I don’t work with absolutely anyone. If I don’t think I can meet your expectations or help you then I will say so and can happily point you in the direction of other developers and agencies who I believe may be able to help. That’s why I like to meet my clients and have a good chat about them and the business so we can both be sure there is a balance between expectation and what I can offer.
I pride myself on designing websites that deliver results so a good client for me is someone who is prepared to listen and learn from my expertise. You have to love your website and I always listen to what my clients do and don’t like but equally there are design and marketing do’s and don’ts which will impact on your sites performance.
Looking for Web Design in Plymouth and the South West?
I graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2002 with a Degree in Business. I always had a passion for design but I started working within business administration and marketing. In 2008 I became Director of a local training and resource centre run for a partnership of 15 public, private and not-for-profit organisations including the NHS and Plymouth City Council. I learnt a huge amount about business in that time; in particular marketing. In my own time I had started to develop an interest in web and graphic design and I was designing branding and websites for friends and family.
In 2011 I started Intelligent Moose to concentrate on web design and marketing. To me, the two go hand in hand and a website should always be considered an integral part of a wider marketing strategy.
Why Intelligent Moose?
Commissioning a new website can be a daunting prospect. If you don’t understand all the options you have or what exactly you require then it is all too easy to be swayed by a professional agency who will design you a fantastic website but charge you an absolute premium for it, likewise, you could be tempted with the promise of a great website for a very cheap price and both could prove a big mistake for your business both in the short and long term.
That is why I offer a completely transparent service with a satisfaction and price guarantee.
If you’re looking for the cheapest website possible then Intelligent Moose is probably not for you, equally, if you want a complex custom coded website built from the ground up and have several thousand pounds to spend on your site, we’re probably not right for each other either. If, however, you want a purpose built website that gets results and is tailor made to your needs then get in touch.
